HP Mini review

Just bought an HP mini, which is a small notebook, or "netbook". The size is just right for the smallest form factor, with an almost full-size keyboard. It has a 1024x600 bright, wide screen, 1.6GHz atom processor, 1GB ram, and a 16GB solid state drive - just enough for surfing the net, email, watching movies, editing documents, and programming on the go. I booted the latest Ubuntu off a flash drive, and everything works out of the box - video, audio, Wi-Fi, USB, trackpad, and battery meter. I've got gedit running at 100x38 characters in 8 point mono - now if I could only turn off the tabs to get 2 more lines, I'd be happy :)
